What would you say if, that task you’ve been meaning to do; had good intention of doing…but here you are two months later and its still not done…could be accomplished within 48 hours? You’d probably say, “Where do I sign up.”
Well, I’m here to tell you that a virtual assistant can make the above possible. Its amazing how busy and caught up we can become taking care of ourselves, our businesses, our family and loved ones. We all intend to take care of this thing or that, but the unfortunate part is we allow important things to sit, and they eventually pile up. If you’re a business owner, you really can’t afford to let projects or tasks sit. The difference between earning the revenue you’re worth and “just getting what you can,” clearly affects your bottom line. Not just business owners allow things to pile up. Busy executives, busy parents and just plain busy people are all guilty parties.
I remember a previous employer giving me a task to have all their greeting cards assembled in a nice frame so that they could hang it on a wall. My employer had a huge stack of greeting cards, and we both knew the task was daunting. Now with all my other “more important” job responsibilities, we both agreed that that project could wait. So it waited and waited, and it never got done. Not for lack of intention, but because we deemed that there were more important things I had to take care of. Now, if I’d had a virtual assistant at that time, I would have shipped her the greeting cards, give her the details of what needs to get done and wait for the finished product.
The aforementioned is just a small example; but some business owners are allowing past-due invoices to sit, client-follow ups to wait, lead generations to remain idle, etc. And, with the economy being what it is, a savvy business owner cannot allow important tasks to pile up in their “when I get to it” box. I used to have one of those…but those days are over. This being said, outsource those administrative tasks or responsibilities to a professional that is fully equipped to handle them for you. Whether the tasks are tedious or just too big for you to handle, a virtual assistant can alleviate that burden and take away the worry and get things done.
With the right person in place, that “to-do-list” that’s been sitting in your inbox or tacked up on your refrigerator for however long can be managed and eliminated expeditiously. The key responsibility of most virtual assistants is taking care of your tasks or projects so that you have more time to devote to matters you deem most important.
So, all of you busy professionals and busy parents out there don’t allow another day to pass while you let those important tasks sit. Delegate the responsibility to a virtual assistant, whereby things can be taken care of within a few days time.
Until next time, Anastacia www.princeva.com
